Day 18 - this one's for Martin Salisbury.

Doesn't look like much, but I'm actually really proud of this one. It's drawn from life, without taking my pen off the paper.

  1. it's wonderful - you have such a personal style that is distictly Faye regardless of what you draw. I think thats what I admire most about your artworks, it's such a difficult thing to cultivate. Distinctiveness in such a competitive industry.

  3. Hello Faye,

I love your work and avidly follow your blog.

Much admiration for your achievement of the daily illustration goal.

I really like this particular illustration - and it echoes my own style of continuous line and experimental drawing. I'm truly fascinated by work that the hand produces when 'rules' are applied to drawing technique.

Maybe you'd like to take a look at my work....

Best of luck with all projects.
