An illustration before 10am...

Every day, for a year.

I've decided to set myself the task of producing an illustration by 10am, every day for a year. And each morning, I'll share it on my blog (aren't you lucky!) I'm hoping the exercise will help me to focus, and I'm intrigued to see where my illustrations might get led over the course of a year... hope you'll join me for the journey!

  1. That's fighting talk! You got off to a great start, love the bird! How long did it take you? What time will you have to get up at I mean? I would need to be up at 2am probably ;-)) x

  2. lol, sheena! Yup, thoroughly approve of this goal. I think I might join you. Have realised whilst I'm ATTEMPTING to write, I'm doing no drawing! You go, girl! (and we'll follow!)

  3. Sheena I owe you a long rambling email! I'll send one through a little later on :) Planning to start the 10am thing properly tomorrow morning... I'm thinking if I get up at around...uhhh...7? (I'm not pretending for a second that some of the drawings won't be drunkenly scribbled on a beermat at 5am).

The little bird is an old picture, and I've just coloured him in - it took about 40 minutes, so he was quick xxx

  4. Oh Cass, I'm so glad you approve! I thought you'd roll your eyes and think 'there she goes, being a masochist again'. Can I read more of your story yet??

  5. So long as you draw them in a northern accent that will be fine.
